Student transportation is not provided for after-school programs. Students should be picked up by 4 p.m. at the front door parking lot. No supervision is provided after 4 p.m. Students picked up after 4:15 p.m. may not be allowed to stay in the future. Students may walk home if it is indicated on the permission form.
If you would like to pick your child up early, you may call the school office (until 3:15 p.m.) and they will notify Bulldog Zone and we will send your child out to you. What is Bulldog Zone?
Kearney Middle School’s Bulldog Zone provides extra time in the building for students to use the district’s computers, wifi, study, and complete homework. Teachers will supervise students. Opportunity is given for students to work on homework during Bulldog Zone; however, it is not the responsibility of the Bulldog Zone tutors to ensure that a student’s homework is completed or correct. Students may also utilize Bulldog Zone as a quiet place to read.
When and where is Bulldog Zone?
Bulldog Zone will begin on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025. Bulldog Zone will meet in the KMS Commons from school dismissal until 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Please note that there will be no Bulldog Zone on early release days or the week of Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Why sign up for Bulldog Zone?
We want to help students succeed academically. This time allows students to complete their work and get help from teachers as needed before they go home.
