Kearney Middle School
Challenging and Engaging for Success

The Bulldog Zone

Bulldog Zone Agreement Form

Who:   Kearney Middle School students

What:  A time for students to study, complete homework and use computers for their school work.  Teachers will be available to assist students who need help finding resources and completing work.  Students may work quietly in small groups on academic work.  If students do not bring any work, they will be expected to remain quiet so they don’t disturb others who are working.

When:  Monday – Thursday until 4:00 p.m.

Where:  Kearney Middle School Library

Why:  We want to help students succeed academically.  This time allows students to complete their work and get help from teachers as needed before they go home.

How:  Students will meet in the Commons Area after school until 2:30 p.m.  This will allow students time for a snack and/or drink if they choose to bring one. Only water will be allowed in the KMS Library.

Transportation is not provided for after school programs.  Students should be picked up at 4:00 p.m. at the car rider lane area.  No supervision is provided after 4:00 p.m. There will be no  Bulldog Zone on days when there is no school or on early dismissal days.  Parents will need to come in the Library to sign out their child if they need to pick up their child before 4:00 p.m.
